To take on the Ultimate Sierra road trip, you will leave San Francisco and start with one night at Coloma, where you can immerse yourself in Gold Rush history. As the epicenter of the California Gold Rush, Coloma is now known for its great whitewater rafting. Learn more about Coloma, CA.

Coloma to Lake Tahoe: 75 miles

3 nights Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe to Mammoth: 140 miles

2 nights Eastern Sierras
