About Whitefish

Whitefish is a charming mountain town known for its Whitefish Mountain Resort and as a gateway to the Glacier National Park. Winter or summer, this little town has big things to offer its visitors.

In summer, you can practice water sports on the Whitefish River and Lake, enjoy one of the many festivals, test your skills at the aerial adventure park, and, of course, spend weeks exploring the Glacier National Park.

In the winter, you can enjoy almost every winter sport from cross-country skiing to fat tire biking. Whitefish Mountain Resort is the primary location to visit, but if you want to keep it simple with the kids, you can go sledding on one of the many hills right by your accommodation.

All year long, the eclectic downtown area features a community theater, delightful dining, and unique shops where you can buy the perfect souvenir.
