About Bend, OR

Sitting on the eastern edge of the Deschutes National Forest is the quaint mountain town of Bend. This once logging town has transformed into an outdoor enthusiast playground. Not too far from Bend, you will be able to explore 80,000-year-old lava tubes, go canoeing on Hosmer Lake, and experience all that the nearby national forests have to offer. Don’t forget about the ski season! Mt. Bachelor is just waiting for you to take it on! In town, you can take advantage of what the little city has to offer. We suggest taking the time to learn about Native American history at the Deschutes Historical Museum, watching a concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, and pig out on ice cream after a tour of the Goody’s Factory. There is much for you and your family to see in this lively little city.
