About Green River

The teeny tiny town of Green River reported a population of less than 1,000 in 2018.

Despite its small size, Green River is an ideal base position to visit Utah’s Super Six: Goblin Valley State Park, the Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Swasey’s Beach, and the San Rafael Swell. You can visit each of these epic locations yourself or take a tour.

There are many inspiring tour destinations where you can canyoneer, hike, do yoga, practice photography, and more.

After spending the day out roaming the sites, you can relax for the evening at Green River. Visit the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, take a picture with Monument Hill, eat at one of the charming restaurants, or attend one of the local festivals.

This little town is the perfect spot to see everything!
