Pricing

We pride ourselves in creating truly custom trips and have custom pricing. Unlike other RV planning companies who have set pricing and often mark up everything, your Tumbleweed Travel trip price price will depend on you and what trip you have dreamed up. On each road trip page, we have set an average price of each trip. This will help give you an idea of how much to budget, but your specific trip price will most likely vary.

Once we get to know you and settle on your dates, who is traveling with you, where you want to go, we will set a price for your specific trip. The all-inclusive price will include the first nights hotel at your starting location, your RV rental price (including mileage, sleeping kits, basic insurance, etc..), your campground reservations, and our planning fee. Once set, we will send you an invoice for your custom Total Trip cost.

Average Trip Price:

Your trip cost will vary on where, when and who you travel with! It is tricky to put an exact price on each trip, but here are some average prices to help you budget. We price all of our trips per RV, so if you have 2 people or 7, your Trip Price will likely not vary too drastically. Prices below are an average per RV (up to 7 people.)

  • 6-8 night trip: $5,300-7,000
  • 9-11 night trip: $8,000- $9,500
  • 11-13 night trip: $9,500 – $11,500

How Much Should I Budget?

To plan for your trip, look at our Road Trips, choose a trip and you will see the average trip price posted. You will need to plan for travel to your starting location. If you are close to home, that is great. If not, you will need to budget for airline flights for your group. Your food budget will be similar to your everyday costs, as your RV will have a working kitchen and fridge. You can cook as much or as little as you like! Lastly, fuel for your RV is a major budget item that should be planned for. Depending on the size of your RV, you will get about 10 miles a gallon, average. (compare vehicles and fuel efficiency here.) As a ballpark figure, you can plan on spending about $250 on fuel for an 8 night trip. Lastly, if you are interested in big tickets activities (river rafting, zip lining, rock climbing) while on your trip, plan on spending between $100-170 per participant.

Deposit

A deposit of 20% of your trip price is due upon acceptance of your booking. The remaining balance will be due 60 day prior to travel. If your travel dates are less than 60 days, your invoice will be due upon receipt.
