About Bryce Canyon National Park

While Bryce Canyon National Park may be small, it packs a serious punch! Bryce Canyon is known for its unique geology, which was caused by thousands of years of erosion. Bryce Canyon is not actually a canyon, but a series of more than a dozen naturally carved amphitheaters intermixed with slot canyons, fins, windows, and spires which locals call “hoodoos.”

This park features a variety of scenic overlooks, trails for all types of tourists, and activities the whole family will love. You can go stargazing, horseback riding, ATVing, mountain biking, and canyoneering.

There are even winter activities like snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and ski archery tours.

No matter when you visit, you will have a blast!

Be aware that Bryce Canyon can get incredibly crowded in the summer, so make sure to book lodging in advance and consider taking the free shuttle instead of driving.
