Fall in Upstate New York (Client Highlight)
What’s better than hearing about trips and vacations directly from the groups and families that go on them! Barbara, Nick and their family booked a Fall trip in the Finger Lakes Region of New York roundtrip from their home in Shaker Heights, OH. Taking a 5 night trip, they experienced fall colors, waterfalls and and a beautiful part of the country. Here is an interview with Barbara about their vacation with us.

Why did you choose to go on an RV vacation? We love to travel and had to halt all of our travel plans for 2020 due to the coronavirus, so we saw an RV vacation as a great way to still get out and travel and see new sites.
What made you the most nervous about an RV Vacation? The size of the RV for driving purposes and just figuring out how to operate all of the different aspects of the RV – generator, electric, shower, water, waste.
What did you like most about traveling in an RV? That we got to see new sites and experience camping in a more comfortable and convenient way for our family. I also loved how excited our little girls were about the whole trip – they saw it as a big new adventure.
What was an unexpected benefit of traveling in an RV? Having a comfortable place to hang out in during the rain!
How was traveling this way with children? A ton of fun and super convenient, especially for bathrooms! 
If you were to do it again, what would you do differently? Everything takes a bit longer in an RV so you can’t pack the day in the same way that you can in a car. Also, I would precook more meals.
What was the trip highlight? The state parks, Watkins Glen and Lak Moreau, and the campfires!!!Watkins Glen State Park and Lake Moreau!
Any advice to people thinking about renting an RV? Use Tumbleweed – we had literally no stress about what we could do, where to go and how to get there. It made life so much easier.
